The Village Players Rushlake Green News Update

A Woman of No Importance

Our cafe theatre production of the comedy, A Woman of No Importance, by Oscar Wilde was extremely well received by sell-out audiences, some of whom felt it was our best production to date. We are very grateful to Helen Halliday who directed this production and to all of the cast and crew who made it possible.

Annual General Meeting

At our 2017 AGM our Chairman, Clyde Young, reported on a very positive year in which we staged two major productions namely Glorious and Sand Castles, both of which were extremely successful and popular with our audiences. Annual Golf Day

For the second year in a row Jonathan Gray won the Annual Village Players' Golf Competition which took place at ''Dewlands Golf Club'' in Rotherfield on Friday September 22nd. It was a very enjoyable and challenging day in wonderful Autumn weather.

Sand Castles

Our outdoor theatre production of ''Sand Castles'' was a huge success with sell out audiences enjoying this witty comedy by Bob Larbey plus the opportunity to have a picnic on the green. We are very grateful to Helen Halliday who directed the production and to all of the cast and crew who helped make the performance such a success despite some challenging weather conditions.
